You did it!

You guys did it! Thank you. We're going to leave the page up for the remainder of the day for anyone who just discovered it and wants to take part in some of the deals. When we first launched this site we weren't sure what kind of support it would get. We figured, why not? We can at least try. It had it's ups and downs and we might have annoyed a few folks with our constant campaigning but it was all for this. We saw friends share this page again and again. We saw complete strangers come and invest. Thanks to Elizabeth Mack for the fantastic article in the Democrat. To everyone who invested we sincerely thank you. You guys showed that this community could come together to support a cause and a neighborhood and we look forward to serving you. We won't let you down!

The Final Countdown!

First, We would like to thank everyone who has supported this campaign and this project so far. When we started it we had no idea so many members of our community would come together to help us in this dream and it's been incredible.

We're about 2/3 of the way there! We can make it. We've updated and added a few new investment levels and we're asking everyone to contact 3 people they think might be interested in what we're doing. Call, text, or email. Just ask em' if they can help out and this will push us over the top.

The restaurant is coming along nicely and the contractors are finishing installing the hood unit, sinks and gas lines this week. It's almost here!

Gaines Street Pies New AC unit!

Update: Smallknot has extended our campaign through January 13 for our special holiday offer at the $75 level.

We've been working vigorously over the last few months to launch the Gaines Street Pies pizza shop. After a 6 month battle with the city to convert an old tin building on Gaines (in tallahassees art district) to be classified as a restaurant we've finally got our building plans approved. Except they're making us upgrade the AC unit which was not in budget. Help finish this super rad restaurant!

A lot of people told us that this building could not be converted into a restaurant, but we knew ever since the space went up this was the perfect location on Gaines and exactly where we wanted our restaurant to be. It took some time, and a little more money than we originally budgeted but we got a plan together that made a restaurant an allowable use of this building. With 20 years of combined restaurant and management experience we're ready to get the doors open and start slinging pie. Thanks for your support!
