Beer Table Update

Help us build a beer bicycle. Yes, that's right: a beer bicycle.

Help us build a beer bicycle. Yep, that's right: a beer bicycle.

Two projects at Beer Table & Beer Table Pantry

Justin and Tricia Philips are the owners of both Beer Table and Beer Table Pantry. We came to beer through wine and food, and have brought our keen interest in hospitality to our businesses. They are both very personal places, reflecting our sense of food, drink and service in a way that we feel is unique. The experience at our places is more about tasting and trying new things than anything else. We try to provide a sense of adventure in a very comfortable environment.

Beer Table is a tiny restaurant in Brooklyn that serves delicious beer and food in an intimate setting. Beer Table Pantry is our even tinier store in Grand Central Terminal that sells beer and quality packaged goods to go. We're on Smallknot today to raise funds for small projects at both places, and we'd love for all of you to be a part of helping us make Beer Table a better experience.

Why We're On Smallknot

We've always thought of Beer Table in Park Slope as really more of a winter space than a summer one, because we've never been able to effectively cool it off. We have a little window air conditioner, but it just can't keep up with the heat of our little kitchen or all of the warm bodies in the room! We've always wanted to install a more effective system, but have never had all the cash on hand required to do it.

At Beer Table Pantry, we're trying really hard to expand beyond our walk-in traffic and start doing more deliveries and beer catering for office parties and other functions in midtown. So we came up with kind of a crazy idea: build a bicycle with a built in draft system that can do just that. Yeah, that's right, a bicycle that distributes beer. Imagine the possibilities!

We're raising $6,000 to help finance these projects, and would love for you to be a part of it.
